Around 100 Words On My Design Ideas

I began my design with the idea of recreating my symmetry model from the previous assignment into a sort of 'black hole' effect. I decided to keep the spheres and square shaped rods as the key elements of the piece. Through my own development and in-class exercises, where my model is now represents more of a planet jungle. The scale of the many spheres are what connects me to the idea that this could be an entanglement of solar systems to form a world of its own. In this sense, the few scattered glowing entities in the model emphasis the outer space theme so I decided that these objects will be the moving sections of my design. I decided to make these parts rotate around a selected point to reference the orbits of planets and moons found in the universe.
